This post is not about me.

It's about a man called Peter Callesen, who does pretty clever things with paper. He takes one piece of standard A4 paper, cuts things into it then sculpts the things he's cut out into figures, houses, skeletons, boxes, whatever. Something like this...

Closet, 2006
Acid free A4 80 GSM paper and glue

In the Shadow of an Orchid, 2005
Acid free A4 80 gsm paper

How does he do it?! I don't know. I think he's cheating somehow. It is fantastic though. I love the effect of cutting or stenciling a shape, simple yet effective. And to make something else from it... It's great. Really love this sort of work. You can see more of Peter Callesen's great A4 sculpting here... http://www.petercallesen.com/index.html

Easyyy.
