Curly whirly...

So, as I was saying before about making curls and twisting paper, I cut 4 triangles of no uniform size or shape out of a piece of A4, and cut notches along the edges, twisting the paper back on itself and slotting it into a curled up shape. I arranged them in different ways, either piling them up, or placing them behind each other to create a variety of different forms. I then photographed them on black paper again, to produce the following results... there are a lot of these photos, I loved taking pictures of these and experimenting with different camera angles.

I'm really loving the results from these, and the tonal qualities and contrasts. Simple yet effective applies as ever...
